Annabella DeNapoli

is a freelance stage manager based out of Philadelphia and New Jersey. She received her

B.A. in Theatre (Design/Technology) from Rowan University. She hopes to bring entertainment and education to audiences through her work as a stage manager, and to build connections in the theatrical community through freelancing.

ABOUT ME

Born and raised in New Jersey, Annabella's first introduction to the world of theatre was as a toddler watching movies like Bedknobs on Broomsticks, Sound of Music, and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. She loved to make her parents play Mary Poppins every single day and force them to watch her dance along to numbers like "Step in Time" or "Supercalifragilisticexpialodocius".

Her performance career may have stopped in her toddler years, but later on she discovered she enjoyed working behind the scenes even more through her school's drama club. She stage managed the drama club's productions all throughout high school, and when it came time look at colleges she decided that this is exactly what she wanted to do with her life.

Bella attended Rowan University in South Jersey where she furthered her training in stage management while receiving additional education in other areas of production. She also had the privilege of working one of her favorite jobs as an Admissions Ambassador for Rowan Admissions, where she got to take prospective families on tours of campus and demonstrate why Rowan was a great choice for a school.

After graduating from Rowan, Bella moved straight to Philadelphia and has loved living here ever since. She primarily does work as an Assistant Stage Manager, and has worked at companies in the area such as the Philadelphia Ballet, the Arden Theatre, and Delaware Shakespeare. When she's not working backstage, you can also find her working behind the front desk of a popular Philadelphia gym called

The Sporting Club at the Bellevue. Her favorite things to do in Philly are trying new places to eat, going on runs around the city, and watching the Philly sports teams.
